The Haus of Taylor Community Art Submission provides artists of all ages the opportunity to showcase their creativity and originality. To ensure a transparent and fair selection process, we have outlined the following jury process.

Eligibility Criteria

Before submissions are evaluated, all artwork will be reviewed to confirm eligibility. Eligible submissions must:

  • Demonstrate creativity and originality.
  • Be created by artists of any age and skill level.
  • Align with the overall goals and values of the Haus of Taylor community.

Selection Criteria

Once eligibility is established, the jury will evaluate each submission based on six primary criteria:

  1. Technical Merit: Assessing the skill and craftsmanship evident in the artwork.
  2. Originality: Evaluating the uniqueness and innovation of the concept.
  3. Composition: Analyzing how the elements of the art are arranged and balanced.
  4. Presentation: Considering how the artwork is displayed or prepared.
  5. Color Value: Reviewing the effectiveness of color choices and their application.
  6. Ability to Elicit Emotion: Judging how well the piece evokes feelings or connects with the viewer on an emotional level.

Each piece will be scored holistically across these categories to ensure a well-rounded and fair evaluation.
